Two local paramedics receive Governor General’s Exemplary Service Medal

The Governor General’s Exemplary Service Medal was presented to two Manitoulin Sudbury District Services Board paramedics during the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chief’s annual general meeting.
Lt.-Gen. Richard Rohmer presented the medals to Paramedic James Robinson and Paramedic Superintendent Daniel Brunet.

Superintendent Brunet has 29 years of service, and Paramedic Robinson, 23.

The medal is awarded to eligible paramedics, with more than 20 years of exemplary service, and with at least 10 years of front line service.

Leslie Gamble, Mayor of Sables-Spanish River and Chair of the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Service Board stated, the board is extremely proud of the work our paramedics do.
