The Meet the Candidates Night is set in Espanola for candidates to present their platforms.
The forum will take place Wednesday, October 10th at 7:00pm at the Espanola Royal Canadian Legion.
Legion President, Gary MacPherson, will be the moderator.
There are two people running for mayor; incumbent Ron Piche and Jill Beer.
There are eight people running for council: incumbents Ray Dufour, Ron Duplessis, Ken Duplessis, Heather Mallott and Bill Foster, and newcomers Maureen Van Alstine and Sandra Hayden.
Still with the story, school board candidates are also invited.
Rainbow Board incumbent Bob Clement is being challenged by Daphne Allen.
For the English Catholic School Board; incumbents Kathleen Rosilius and Lindsay Liske, are being challenged by William D’Arcy Halligan and Reginald Simon.
And, the French Catholic incumbent Paul Gervais is being challenged by Gabriel Tremblay.
