There was plenty of mud for the Espanola Fire Association’s annual ATV Poker Run, thanks to Friday’s storm.
This past Saturday, the Association held its fourth annual event raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, a disease that weakens the skeletal muscles.
This year’s run attracted 250 plus riders who started out on the run from Boogie Mountain and wound their way through the mud and wet trails to House Lake and back.
The final numbers have yet to be tallied, but the event has raised over $12,000 in its first three years.
