The Counselling Centre of East Algoma in Elliot Lake is hosting a Take Back the Night for the public.
Public Educator, Malin Johnson, says the Take Back the Night honours those who lost their lives to domestic abuse.
She says 161 women have been killed just this year.
In addition to that focus, there will be a presentation on workplace violence and harassment policy.
The event takes place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm tomorrow evening at the centre.
