A Manitoulin Island teen is facing charges following an incident at a school.
Manitoulin OPP says last Friday September 14th around noon, they responded to a disturbance at Manitoulin Secondary School.
A 15-year-old youth from M’Chigeeng First Nation has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assault.
The youth, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is to appear in Gore Bay Youth Court on September 26th.
Police say there is no concern for public safety at this time and anyone having video of the disturbance are asked to come forward.
The investigation is on-going.
