East Algoma OPP investigating animal cruelty death

Someone has shot a black Labrador dog on the Serpent River First Nation.

East Algoma OPP are investigating the case of animal cruelty which took place on Village Road.

Investigators say the dog’s owner found the dead Labrador a few days after it went missing and it looked like it had gun-shot wounds.

Police are turning to the public to supply them with information about this crime.

They add Crime Stoppers will also offer up to $2,000 for information on the animal killing.
