Back to school next week

Parents will be busy this weekend getting their kids ready for back to school next week.

Depending what school board your child falls under, the return to school date is either Tuesday or Wednesday.

For example, the Algoma board resumes next Tuesday while the Rainbow and Huron-Superior boards are back in session on Wednesday.

Check with your local school board for more details.

And with school starting up again, there’s a reminder for motorists to be watchful of school buses.

When a school bus has its stop arm extended and roof top lights flashing, motorists behind and those facing the bus have to stop.
