Sudbury police looking for man after sexual assault

A man on a bicycle has sexually assaulted a young woman in Sudbury after she got a ride from him.

The woman was walking around 2:00am Tuesday when the man offered her a ride to Notre Dame Avenue.

She got on the bike and the man took her to a parking lot just off Notre Dame where the sexual assault took place.

The victim managed to escape and was able to call police by running to a nearby home.

She suffered some minor injuries during the altercation.

The woman told police she didn’t know her attacker and gave police a description of her attacker.

The search for the man is now on.
