Now that the Ministry of Natural Resources has lifted its Fire Restriction designation, municipalities are starting to remove their local bans.
Among the first to take that action is Espanola.
Other area communities are expected to follow suit.
At last count 25 wildfires were burning in the northeast.
Not one of those fires is out of control.
That includes the massive Parry Sound 33 which firefighters now have under control after it was listed as being held late last week.
