Man charged for violating bail conditions

A Blind River man is charged with failing to comply with a probation order as well as recognizance after being with his common-law wife.

The man was first charged last week in connection with an assault and was told by the courts not to communicate with his spouse.

However Saturday afternoon the man was spotted being driven around by his spouse.

OPP arrested the man and charged the 28-year-old with the additional offenses.
