Espanola family with girl with curvature of the spine needs financial help

A Go Fund Me account has been started for an Espanola girl who has developed curvature of the spine.

The initial treatment to help Emily Shepherd involves keeping her in a back brace day and night.

She faces a body cast if the brace doesn’t work and finally surgery if all the options fail.

OHIP will cover the cost of the brace and other expenses but the Go Fund Me account was created to help pay for other expenses not covered.

Go to www.gofundme.com/sawx4p-emily for more information or to donate.
