Four people are dead after a southbound vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle near Wawa.
Two people in the southbound vehicle died at the scene and two from the other vehicle died in hospital.
The crash took place Sunday night about 15 kilometres south of Wawa on Highway 17.
The collision closed the Trans-Canada Highway in both directions until about 1:00pm Monday.
A total of five people from both vehicles were also injured.
No names have been released.
