Canada Post office on St. Joseph Island broken into

Someone will be able to mail out a lot of letters after a break-in at the Canada Post office at Richard’s Landing on St. Joseph Island.

About $21 in stamps were taken after someone broken the building’s front window and completely removed the frame.

Also stolen were two silver coins with a total value of $35.

One coin features a wolf and is called Glistening North.

The other coin is called Celebration of Spring and has an image of an apple blossom tree.

East Algoma OPP are also investigating debit card thefts from vehicles in Bruce Mines which may also involve stolen credit cards.
