The North Bay OPP is investigating a plane crash where the one occupant died.
Police say the plane crash took place on Monday shortly before 10:00am.
The aircraft went down into the bush area approximately 100 metres from Talon Lake in Rutherglen Township.
The pilot was pronounced dead and no name has been released.
The OPP Forensic Identification Services, the Transportation Safety Board and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are conducting the investigation.
