The fire danger sign is at extreme at the Espanola Fire Hall.
Espanola Fire Chief, Mike Pichor, says one person has already been charged with open burning.
He says there is absolutely no open flames allowed under any circumstances.
Only gas operated barbecues are allowed.
Pichor adds the little bit of rain over the last couple of days will have no influence on reducing the fire danger.
