Students of Cecil’s Korean Martial Arts Center in Elliot Lake and Blind River traveled to the Soo for the World Dahn Moo Do Open Martial Arts Championship & regional qualifying try outs for Team Canada. The team won 7 Gold Medals, 4 Silver, 4 Bronze and four 4th place Medals, for a total of 19 all together. Â Katie Brock was the Grand Champion in the Under Black Belt, while team mate Anna Cyr came away as Grand Champion in the Lady’s Black Belt division. The team now travels to Sudbury this weekend to compete in the Mid Canada Karate Championship
