Fatality on highway 69

Sudbury OPP says a Milton, Ontario man died in a single vehicle collision.

OPP says on July 16th at approximately 2:45am, they responded to the incident on Highway 69 in Cox Township.

The police investigation revealed that a Jeep Liberty traveling northbound on Highway 69 left the roadway and collided with a rock cut.

The passenger of the Jeep, 60-year-old Riffat Shamsi of Milton was transported to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The driver was also transported to hospital and remains in critical condition.
