Two drownings – search continues in a possible third

Two men have drowned in unrelated incidents and a search continues for a third.

26-year-old Brandon Odber of Sault Ste. Marie was fishing on Primeau Lakein  Shingwaukonce Township on Saturday, June 30th, when he fell into the lake and did not re-surface.

OPP say 57-year-old Marcel Morin of West Nipissing was sitting on a chair of a wooden raft on the Sturgeon River early Sunday afternoon when the chair broke and he fell in the water.

And, police continue the search for a 28-year-old man in Chutes Provincial Park, just north of Massey.

On Sunday, July 1st at around 8:00pm, Espanola OPP received a report the man had not re-surfaced.

The search continues.
