A former Yugoslavian refugee of the Second World War is this year’s Distinguished Artist at the 41st LaCloche Art Show.
This year’s Distinguished Artist is Peter Bering whose family fled to Canada in 1941.
As this year’s featured artist, Bering will be teaching a workshop on Friday at 4:30pm for all artists who have entered the show.
He will also be at the grand opening this Saturday at 11:00am.
The show, with over 200 pieces of art on display, runs daily 11:00am to 5:00pm until Sunday, July 8th.
Admission is free.
