Ontario Regional Chief, Isadore Day of Serpent River First Nation is seeking re-election for another three year term.
The election for Ontario Regional Chief will be held in a traditional ceremony at the 44th Annual All Ontario Chiefs Conference hosted by Nipissing First Nation starting today.
Day says his platform is focused on youth and the future, which falls into the theme of the conference ‘Securing a Future for our Children: Advancing Our Nations.’
Besides the election, the agenda also includes updates on Chiefs of Ontario secretariat sectors.
