A second man has been found dead in the Blind River. On Thursday, the East Algoma OPP were investigating a report that two men were missing after being seen boating on the river. The search efforts were able to locate one of the men on Thursday who was pronounced dead, but the second man was still missing. On Sunday morning, members of the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located the second missing male in the Blind River and he was pronounced dead. Police say there is nothing suspicious in the circumstances surrounding the death and the names of the victims have not been released at this time pending consultation with Next-of-kin.
