The Spanish Harbour Remedial Action Plan Team is holding an information and consultation session on a draft Status Report for the Spanish Harbour Area of Concern in Recovery.
Spokesperson Mark Chambers says there is good news to be shared about the Whalesback Channel and Spanish Harbour at the meeting tonight.
Chambers says there were three beneficial use impairments, dredging being one of them, but with the improvements in Whaleback Channel and Spanish Harbour, that impediment is being removed.
He adds fish stocks are also improving.
The complete report will be released this evening from 6:30pm to 9:00pm in the Regency Room at the Pinewood Motor Inn.
