Power outages were minor in the local Moose listening area due to the storm.
There were sporadic power outages on Manitoulin Island and spotty on the North Shore, but all power was restored quickly.
The storm caused more than two hundred broken poles and downed power lines, but it is estimated around 82,000 customers are still without power.
Hydro One crews have restored power to more than 300,000 customers, most of them in the south east, but expects customers in parts of the province to be without power overnight and potentially into Wednesday.
