Light the Night Walk in Elliot Lake
The walk took place in Elliot Lake on Saturday. Logo provided
A Light the Night Walk to battle blood cancer is being held in Elliot Lake.
Last year, Roger Hachey organized the fundraiser for the first time in Elliot Lake on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Hachey says it raised $2,400 and this year, he hopes to match or top that figure.
All the proceeds will go to research.
The event goes this Saturday night starting at 8:00pm from the St. Vincent DePaul location on Elizabeth Square.
