Schools across the North Shore and Manitoulin Island will be wearing green and yellow in remembrance of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team in Saskatchewan.
The Rainbow District School Board is hosting Jersey Day Thursday, and is encouraging students to wear the colours of the team, in remembrance of the 15 people who died and several others injured in the collision between a team bus and a semi last Friday.
Espanola council is also sending a letter of condolence on behalf of the community.
