Well over 500 people were treated to two Watoto Children’s Choir concerts in Espanola and Elliot Lake.
The choir, made up of children from various orphanages in Africa, thrilled the audiences lucky enough to get a ticket.
The concerts were free, but donations were warmly welcomed adding up to over $3,200 in Elliot Lake alone.
The Queensway Pentecostal Church in Espanola declined to release the local amount raised as per their policy.
The choir is on a cross-country tour and the funds raised will go towards continuing the care and work of the several Watoto orphanages that have some 3,000 orphans in their care overseas.
