A Blind River man is facing several charges following reports of domestic assaults.
East Algoma OPP was called on Sunday around 10:00am by a woman who had ended a relationship with her boyfriend the week before.
Her mother wanted police to assist her daughter in retrieving her personal belongings from a resident on Highway 17 in Spanish.
The 21-year-old told police she had been physically assaulted on numerous occasions and her ex-boyfriend had also destroyed two of her electronic devices.
Police also determined the man had three firearms in the residence and found them unsecured in a closet.
The 21-year-old from Blind River is facing unauthorized possession of a firearm and careless storage, as well as three charges of spousal assault and two counts of mischief under $5,000.
He is to appear in Blind River court on April 5th
