A Sudbury woman has been charged in connection with a fire on Manitoulin Island.
Manitoulin OPP say on Wednesday March 7th, they assisted the Sudbury OPP Crime Unit in charging a Sudbury woman responsible for a building fire in Gordon Township on the Island.
Police were called to the scene of a fire at a residence on Highway 542 back on Sunday, November 4TH, 2017.
Forty-one-year-old Shannon Desjardins of Sudbury has been charged with arson and is to appear in Gore Bay court on April 17th.
