The Elliot Lake OPP found human remains, but is releasing little information.
Police say they located human remains in a wooded area within the City of Elliot Lake on Wednesday.
Several OPP departments are involved in the investigation and the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario is also involved.
Police say there are no further details at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
