It was a great way to celebrate a 40th anniversary.
The Espanola-North Shore 40th anniversary Snowarama for Easter Seals attracted 28 riders, says Easter Seals co-ordinator, Carmen Bazinet.
She says the event raised $7,300, substantially exceeding this year’s goal of $5,000
Julian Richer was the Top Male Rider with pledges of $885 and Sue Belanger won the award for Top Women Rider raising $1,345. The money will go towards providing local area children and youth with physical disabilities with vital equipment, as well as offering them the opportunity to attend Easter Seals Camp.
