The Manitoulin Secondary School hockey fundraiser for Mustang alumni Connor Croft attracted support from throughout the Manitoulin Island and North Shore corridor.
The event raised over $10,000 for Croft, who is in need of a kidney transplant.
He found out last year that he had kidney failure and moved south to be closer to medical care.
The funds go towards offsetting the costs of the move not covered by support programs.
The Espanola girls’ team donated $100, which they raised through a bake sale and the two 50/50 winners also donated their winnings back to Croft.
As for the scores, the Mustang boys won 4 to 3 while the Mustang girls tied 3-3 with their Espanola counterparts
