Espanola Police 2017 Collision Report- no fatalities

There were no motor vehicle fatalities in the Espanola Police Service jurisdiction in 2017.

According to a report compiled by The Espanola Police Service, in partnership with Accident Support Services International, there were no fatalities within Espanola’s police boundaries.

The reports states in 2017 there were 95 reportable motor vehicle collisions involving 174 vehicles.
The majority of collisions were classified as property damage while 6% involved personal injuries.

Of that, 36% of the collisions involved unattended motor vehicles.

Data is collected and analyzed involving four main collision types: vehicle; pedestrian; snow machines and those involving drugs or alcohol.
