The Espanola Royal Canadian Legion #39 has made a significant donation to a new park, which is to be constructed this Spring.
Espanola Legion President, Gary MacPherson and Dan Kryzanowski , the chair of the Poppy Committee invited Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation reps Terri Noble and Mike Dunn to visit for a special presentation last week.
The two presented a cheque for $8,000 from the sale of poppies to go towards the Espanola Therapeutic Park, which will be built this Spring at the hospital site to provide an enclosed safe space for residents of the long-term care facility.
