Stem Cell treatment for Elliot Lake girl, Lilly

An Elliot Lake father is asking for help to raise money for stem cell treatment for his daughter.

Adrian Lecuyer  says his six-year-old daughter, Lilly, was born with spastic quad cerebral palsy.

One day, while on social media, he came across a video of a little girl like Lilly who was taking her first unaided steps with the help of stem cell treatments.

Lecuyer says the family wants to get the treatments because it could change Lily’s life by making her less spastic, increase her hand-eye coordination and improve speech.

The treatment is only available in California and would require travel once a year at a cost of around $11,000 per treatment.

A go fund me has been set up for donations and the link is: https://www.gofundme.com/afkea-stem-cell-treatment-for-lilly
