Local author releases short stories collection

Vera Constantineau has debuted a collection of short stories geared to family in her latest endeavour.

Hailing from Copper Cliff, Constantineau is well known in the Espanola and North Shore area as a former columnist.

She says this series, Daisy Chained, is exciting with each of these stories giving the reader a glimpse into a full cast of characters.

For example, in Paige and the Bug, the reader wonders if a little girl will overcome her fear of bugs.

Since leaving the writing of columns behind, she has become an internationally published poet and her work appears in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom, and many pieces having won and placed in national and international contests.

The collection is available for purchase at the Community Living Craft House in Espanola.
