One fatality identified, investigations continue in two others

OPP have identified one victim following three fatal accidents this weekend.

Last Friday, members of the Temiskaming OPP responded to a collision between two tractor trailers on Highway 11, in Temagami.

Passenger Amandeep Kaur Mangat, 33, of Brampton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues into a fatal accident that occurred yesterday on Highway 17 east of McKerrow.

Espanola OPP says an eastbound passenger vehicle collided with a transport truck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

And in a third accident, a pedestrian died in a collision early Saturday near Copper Cliff.

Greater Sudbury Police said Municipal Road 55 was closed in both directions between Balsam and Big Nickel Mine Road for several hours.

The identities of the two deceased have not been released and the investigations continue.
