Espanola Police Report: Threats made against mother

Making threats against his mother has landed an Espanola man in trouble.
Espanola Police say on Thursday morning, November 16th, they received a complaint from a woman who said her son had been repeatedly calling and harassing her, as well as threatening her while demanding assistance with his disabled vehicle.

Officers found him later in the day and he was taken into custody.
Police also found out the man had violated his bail by going to his mother’s house a couple of days before.
He was taken to the police station where he attempted to strike one of the officers and threatened both of the officers.
The 33-year-old Espanola man was charged with three counts of uttering threats, as well as one count of assaulting police and failing to comply with recognizance.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
