The 69th Annual MCTV Christmas Telethon is once again a huge success.
Espanola Lions club spokesperson, Grant Lewis, says the club presented a cheque for $750 to the Children’s Telethon before they began manning the phones.
They were not the only ones to take part from the local area.
Railroad Steele musicians, Glenda and Jenny Massicotte also took part providing their unique style to the show.
Just over $273,000 was raised, which will be used to provide gifts to families throughout the northeast, including Algoma, North Shore and Manitoulin Island
