Webbwood honours one of its’ own

The Webbwood Public Library has gone through a major renovation with the addition of a new community room.

The revamped space was opened this weekend with a formal naming of the space as the Harold Maze Community Room.

Maze not only established the Webbwood Public Library in 1971, but also served as the Mayor of Webbwood from 1948 to 1950 and ran Maze Garage with his brother, Paul, for several years.

His niece, Rhea Williams, was on hand to cut the ribbon with about 25 people in attendance for the auspicious occasion.
