A family walk with the dog turned into a misadventure for a family with a toddler.

On Wednesday, shortly before six pm, the North Bay OPP received a call about a missing two-year-old in Redbridge.

Police say at around 4:30 pm, the family was out for a walk.

The toddler was in a sleigh being pulled by the dog when the dog ran into the bush with the sleigh and child in tow.
The family was unable to find them and called police.

Canine and emergency units were immediately called in.

At 8:00 pm, the child and dog were found snagged around a tree by her mother.

They were both unharmed and brought out of the bush by OPP ATV.
