This is the 40th year in a row that the Espanola Elks have teamed up with local radio to host the annual Christmas Hamper Fund Drive.
The Elks collect monetary donations to raise funds to provide families and individuals in need with a hamper filled with all the fixings for Christmas, plus a small gift or two.
The Moose 99.3FM CJJM partners with the Elks every year to assist the club with the drive, which officially begins today.
Anyone who qualifies for a hamper must go in person to the Elks Hall over the next three days to register, starting this afternoon at 1 pm.
Registration runs today, Friday and Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
On Saturday, The Moose and The Elks will be at the Espanola Mall from 10 am to 3 pm to collect pledges for the hampers.
The hampers will be delivered in time for the holidays.
