Movember and the Wildcats

The Elliot Lake Wildcats will take on the Blind River this Friday night at Centennial Arena and the Wildcats will be sporting a new look.

It is Movember and the Cats will be wearing Movember Jerseys.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

The hockey shirts will then be auctioned off all week on the Wildcat Facebook page.

There will also a bake sale at the game to indulge the sweet tooth.

A portion of the proceeds from the night’s event will go the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake.

The puck drops at 7:30pm.
