The province’s college students are back to class today including Cambrian College’s satellite campuses in Espanola and Little Current.
The government passed back to work legislation after a special weekend sitting.
The union representing teachers and the colleges failed to reach an agreement and teachers overwhelmingly rejected an offer late last week.
However, students will have to cut their Holiday break short in order to salvage the semester.
The province says students with extra financial pressure will be able to apply for assistance.
