The Town of Espanola has carried out its five-year review of the Official Plan.
Last night, council held a special meeting to ask questions and for public comment.
Members of the Save AB Ellis Public School Committee reiterated the importance of saving what they consider a heritage building and they were especially anxious to see council establish a Municipal Heritage Committee as stipulated in the OP.
That will happen with council unanimously endorsing the new plan during the regular meeting that followed, but when is not known.
