Double Fatality – Deceased Identified

Two men died in a head-on collision in Sudbury.
Sudbury OPP, fire and emergency medical services responded to a vehicle collision on Highway 17 at Middle Lake Road in Sudbury around noon on Wednesday.
The investigation revealed a westbound vehicle driven by 63-year-old Guy Forget of French River crossed the center line and struck an eastbound pick-up truck driven by 70-year-old Barry Brechin of Bruce Mines.
Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Technical Collision Investigators are still investigating the crash.
A 55-year-old female passenger in the pick-up remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
