The plight of animals is a serious issue, but an Elliot Lake organization will be using comedy to raise funds to help them.
The Society for Animals in Distress, known as SAD, is bringing in some of serious comedic talent to raise some serious dollars to help four-legged friends.
The show called ‘Raise the Woof’ will feature professional comedians from Just For Laughs and Comedy Central.
It will be held at the French Church on is Saturday, November 18th.
Tickets for the show can be picked up at the shelter on Perini Road in Elliot Lake or Pet Valu in the Oakland Plaza.
