Espanola High School is hoping to spruce up its center courtyard by having the public vote for them on line for a special grant.
The Moose shared a story about Espanola High School wanting to turn the space into a peaceful gathering place for students.
Teacher Jayson Stewart says the initiative is gaining momentum.
Stewart says the school has applied to the Aviva Community Fund and your vote is needed.
For eight years, Aviva has been supporting the causes the public care about most and strengthening local communities through their Aviva Community Fund.
What can you do? Vote … go to: www.avivacommunityfund.org to vote online, find Espanola High School and submit your votes.
The high school is also asking for donations from the public in the form of outdoor furniture, plants and decorations.
