Hearst OPP is investigating the death of a three year old.
Last Friday, at around 4 AM, officers from the Hearst OPP were called to assist the Nishnawbe-Ask Police Service and Cochrane District Emergency Medical Services with a child in medical distress on Constance Lake First Nation.
The little girl was brought to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There is an investigation underway, which is being conducted under the authority of the Coroner’s Act. A post mortem is set to take place in Sudbury today.
