Food Bank Radiothon this weekend in Elliot Lake

Filling the shelves of the Elliot Lake Food Bank is the primary focus of a radiothon this weekend.

Elliot Lake’s Moose FM 94.1 CKNR is the location for the 15th Annual Food Bank Radiothon this Saturday.

Moose Morning Host Bob Alexander will host the event from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday.

The public is encouraged to drop by with non-perishable items and/or monetary donations at the studio at 144 Ontario Avenue

The phone line will also be open:  call 705-848-3608.
Local musical talent will be performing throughout the day.

There will also be a silent auction and barbecue.
The food bank helps feed the most vulnerable including children, working parents and seniors on fixed incomes.
