The Greater Sudbury Police Service recently received multiple complaints of suspected drug trafficking and loitering happening around the area of the Vita Heal Medical Clinic, located at 128 Cedar Street.
As a result, the Drug Enforcement Unit identified two female adults participating in the sale of controlled substances.
Both women were arrested and face four counts of trafficking a controlled substance and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
The police is committed to focusing on drug trafficking conducted in the downtown core as it poses a direct threat to the safety of the community.
It is especially harmful to members of the community who are suffering from addiction and attempting to rehabilitate themselves by attending the clinic for treatment.
